Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to remove the old bumper to install this?

You’ll need to drop or access the rear bumper cover to reach the mounting points. Once the cover is clear, the reinforcement bar bolts directly to factory locations no drilling or extra fabrication needed.

Will this fit if my bumper has a trailer hitch?

Test-fit the reinforcement bar with your hitch receiver installed to confirm clearance before final fastening. Mounting method won’t conflict with a hitch, but spacing depends on your hitch bracket style.

Can I install this with the bumper assembly still on the vehicle?

Most installs require bumper removal or temporary unbolting to access the bar’s attachment points cleanly. Plan 23 hours if you’re doing it in your driveway with basic tools.
