Frequently Asked Questions

Will this bar fit my current rear bumper cover, or do I need to remove it first?

You’ll need to remove the bumper cover to access the mounting points. The reinforcement bar bolts to the frame underneath, so it sits between the frame and factory cover. Once installed, your OEM bumper cover goes back on without modification.

Does this require any welding or cutting?

No. This mounts directly to factory points using existing bolt holes. No drilling, cutting, or welding neededit’s a bolt-on install.

Do I need to paint this before installing it?

Painting is optional. If you want it color-matched to your bumper, prep and paint before install. The bare finish won’t affect function, but exposure to weather will cause oxidation over time, so most owners paint or coat it for longevity.
