Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to remove the bumper cover to install this?

Yes. The reinforcement bar mounts behind the bumper cover at the factory attachment points. You’ll need to unbolt the cover, secure the bar, then reinstall the cover over it. Straightforward process with basic hand tools.

Will this work if my bumper has sensor holes?

The reinforcement bar installs at the structural mounting points. If your bumper cover has sensor cutouts, they won’t interfere with the bar installation. The sensors sit in the cover independently.

What hardware do I need to install this?

Refer to your vehicle’s service manual for factory bolt specifications and torque specs. The bar uses the same fastening points as the OEM unit, so matching fasteners will workconfirm sizes before you start.
